My Philosophy

All students can learn and succeed (some might just need more support than others)
All students have a right to a safe learning environment
All students deserve access to a school counseling program that addresses their academic, career, and social-emotional needs

My purpose as a counselor is to support students' academic, career, and social-emotional development
Provide a safe space for students to discuss problems, develop social skills, and address issues like bullying, trauma, and family problems.
Supporting students in crisis situations and connecting them with external resources when necessary
Working with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student needs and advocating for students in meetings and other settings

Empower every student to discover their strengths, overcome barriers, and achieve their fullest potential, academically, socially, and emotionally
Cultivate a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment where all students feel seen, heard, and valued.
